Our caravan services are completed to the highest industry standard, and are insured and guaranteed with the full support of the MCEA. Please note that any parts that may be required are not included in service charges. We offer the following services:

FULL CARAVAN SERVICE

Chassis and running gear:

  • Grease/lubricate jockey wheel

  • Check and grease corner steadies

  • Check breakaway cable

  • Grease overrun pistons

  • Check coupling head

  • Check and adjust handbrake mechanism

  • Tyre and pressure check

  • Remove brake drums

  • Check wheel bearings and oil seals

  • Check, clean, and adjust brake shoes

  • Check and torque wheel bolts/nuts

  • Body to chassis condition

  • Check 12N and 12S plug condition

  • Check road and awning lighting

Exterior and interior:

  • Internal damp survey

  • Exterior sealant condition

  • Window seals, stays, and catch operation

  • Floor delimitation

  • Roof light functionality

  • Cupboard stays, catches, and handles

  • Interior door operation

  • Blinds and flyscreens

Water system:

  • Water pump

  • Filter replacement (if required)

  • Check all taps and shower head for functionality

  • Toilet operation

  • Check pressure switch and operation

HABITATIONAL SERVICE

This service is ideal for seasonally-pitched caravans only, and includes:

  • Full habitation test (including damp report)

  • Water system

  • 12V and 230V system checks
